Official patch notes take priority over the earlier v9.0.1 community chart: 7.1 names Q for dash and 8.1 confirms Enter, Space and speed controls. Other rows below are attributed community notes, not verified screenshots of the current menu.

Keyboard and controller reference
The author added key configuration in 7.0. In 8.1, Enter and Space remain Confirm/Burst even when C is remapped. Your in-game bindings may differ from the defaults.
| Action | Keyboard | Gamepad | Evidence / use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Move | Arrow keys | D-pad / left stick | Move |
| Confirm / Burst | C, Enter, Space | A | Fire Burst |
| Back / pause | X | B | Pause |
| Save / info | Z | X | Stat panel; hold to reroll |
| Board / sort | D | Y | Mega or Z-move; hold to ban a card |
| Zoom | R | RB | Zoom |
| Dash | Q | L1 / LB | Author 7.1 notes; overrides older community A row |
| Slow / fast | F / G | L2 / R2 or LT / RT | Author 8.1 notes; speed ×1, ×2, ×3 |
How to equip items: equipment is separate from cards
The author’s 6.0 notes introduce an Equipment System alongside training and candy. Version 7.5 and 9.0 add more equipment. Rerolling or banning a level-up card is not the same operation as equipping a gear item.
The official 9.0.3 package defines an Equipment Slot training node for each Pokémon. Buy that node for the selected Pokémon, then open its equipment menu from the character selection confirmation screen using the Board action (D / Y in the community default chart, or your remapped binding).
Choose an owned, compatible item with the direction controls and press Confirm to equip it. Select “No item” to remove gear; Cancel returns to selection. Evolution stones in this menu are restricted to Eevee. These steps follow the package’s menu logic, not a recorded playthrough.
If the menu will not open, check the selected Pokémon’s Equipment Slot training first. If an item is absent, check ownership and compatibility. Include the Pokémon, item, version and screen in a support report.
Settings, run statistics and speed unlocks
Options was added in 2.5; 5.0 added options for displaying run statistics and bonuses. In an itch reply the author says to enable the display in Options, then use W in-game. A different key may apply if you have changed bindings.
Version 8.1 introduced ×1, ×2 and ×3 speeds. The later 9.0.2 notes change the unlock rule: clearing a mode with any Pokémon unlocks acceleration for all Pokémon in that mode. Breach’s 8.1 notes lock it to ×1. Older instructions requiring a clear by each Pokémon should not be presented as the latest speed rule.

Questions
How do I equip items in Pokémon Survivor Burst?
Unlock that Pokémon’s Equipment Slot training node, then use the Board action on its selection confirmation screen to open equipment. Choose an owned compatible item and Confirm; choose No item to unequip. The official 9.0.3 package defines this flow; bindings can be remapped.
The game will not launch or will not move. What now?
For input, first focus the game window and check remapped controls. A startup failure is a different issue: verify you downloaded the right platform package, update the launcher and send the exact error to the author’s Discord. Do not disable antivirus on this page’s advice.
