How to play Pokémon Survivor Burst on mobile

Checked 14 October 2026. Survivor Burst has an official Android launcher. The author says it is unavailable for iPhone, and the release post warns that mobile compatibility is not guaranteed.

Checked the author’s Android devlog, current itch downloads and forum support replies on 14 October 2026. The installation outline includes general Android device steps; it is not a tested walkthrough for a particular phone.

Android: what is actually published

The Android announcement is dated 15 September 2026 in the itch devlog index; the matching forum announcement is dated 16 September. Both credit soybean. The current Android file is RotomLauncherMobilePort-0.3.16 - by soybean.zip: itch displays 12 MB and MediaFire reports 13,375,545 bytes. That is the launcher archive, not the entire game.

  1. Open Clessio’s itch download section and choose the Android file credited to soybean, or use the Mobile link in the author’s forum post.
  2. Extract the ZIP before installing. A ZIP is not an APK. Use the Android installer included in the author’s package.
  3. General Android step: if the device asks, grant the file-opening app permission to install this package, then remove that permission when finished. Screen names vary by Android version.
  4. Open the mobile launcher and allow it to download Survivor Burst. Launcher 0.3.16 and game 9.0.3 are different version numbers.
  5. If the launcher says the update channel is unavailable, follow the author’s 12 October reply #57: download the APK again. The author says save data will be preserved; do not clear app data or delete the save folder.

iPhone and iPad

In Eevee Expo reply #50 on 8 October 2026, ClessioTV says the game is unavailable for iPhones, citing Apple licensing restrictions. The itch page also has an author reply about iPad distribution difficulties. No iOS file is listed on 14 October. These replies do not give an iOS launch date.

For browser play on an iPhone or iPad, PokéSurvivor at pokesurvivor.com is a separate game. Its guide supports landscape phone play. It does not run the Survivor Burst download.

Touch controls

A current official touch-button diagram was not located. Check the mobile package and in-game settings for the controls on your device. The desktop keyboard table is not proof of a matching touch layout. If reporting an issue, include your phone model, Android version, launcher version, game version and the exact error.

How do I play Pokémon Survivor Burst on mobile?

Download the Android launcher ZIP credited to soybean from Clessio’s itch page, extract it, install its Android package and use the launcher to obtain the game. Mobile compatibility is not guaranteed.

Is the phone version finished?

The Expo mobile notice says it has not been fully tested and compatibility is not guaranteed. That is the author’s wording, not a review score.

Why does launcher 0.3.16 show an older game version?

The launcher and game have separate versions. For an unavailable update channel, the author’s forum reply #57 says to redownload the APK and says existing saves will be preserved.
